The geography of the area can be described roughly as bounded by the Dundas Street (Highway 5) to the north, Ninth Line to the east, Eighth Line and Glenashton Drive/Grand Boulevard to the west and Upper Middle Road to the south. Joshua Creek lies on the east side of Oakville just minutes from the junction of the QEW and Highway 403 which is convenient for commuting within the Greater Toronto Area.
Joshua Creek is home to the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre which includes a 25-metre eight-lane public pool, a separate leisure pool with a waterslide and a fitness facility. The community center has programs for all ages and also houses a branch of the Oakville Public Library. The Upper Oakville Shopping Mall is located right nearby and hosts a variety of shops, restaurants, and services for your convenience. Sheridan College is just a ten-minute drive east of the area. Joshua Creek is a great suburban family neighborhood.
